Unit 2 Journey on Relaxation Exercise


Journey on Relaxation Exercise

I found the Journey On Relaxation exercise to be a rewarding experience. While sitting and listening to the exercise, I felt the tension in my shoulders and could feel the release. Slowly my body began to relax into the chair,  I thought about lying down to finish the listening, but knew I would not get up after. As the speaker began giving directions I found myself listening intently to his voice, following his lead.

As with many meditations, I found myself drifting into thought and not listening, but with the background sounds of the ocean I drifted back into the meditation. The mind calming down as I continued to listen, becoming more relaxed as the mind floated into a dreamlike state. When the meditation ended, I stretched and smiled. 

Feeling refreshed and alive, life is good!

  1. Cynthia, I enjoyed your post and think it is great that you found the exercise so relaxing. I found it challenging to relax to the guides voice. I am enjoying your other posts as well as this one.

  2. I enjoyed the relaxation exercise and journey too... I also found a guided imagery website that was really wonderful, the link is on my blogspot... you might enjoy listening to it, it is just a sample but I thought it was really beautiful and powerful.
